Version 1.3 changes (English translation for information; the Hungarian text governs)

1.3. The Terms, the Privacy Notice and the chosen fee package together form the contract. For the fee, the current item shown on the Stripe interface (for card payments) or in the package selector (for bank transfer) governs. For the intermediary nature of the service, the prohibition on handling money, and the exclusion of liability for partner prices, these Terms govern.

2.7. Subscription fee: the monthly or annual periodic fee paid in advance for the given Bronze, Silver or Gold package, paid by bank card (Stripe) or bank transfer.

6.1. The dealer software is subscription-based. The User may pay a monthly or annual fee by bank card or bank transfer. The annual fee is the total of twelve monthly fees reduced by thirty percent. For card payments, the billing source is Stripe: Stripe shows the fee, the period, the tax (if any) and the payment status. CarVinsight does not store card numbers. For bank transfer, paid access starts only after the payment has been confirmed.

6.2. Every new dealer account receives a 14-day Gold trial without a bank card. The trial starts when the account is activated. The trial creates no payment order, and no automatic charge is made when it ends. A warning is given on day 13. After day 14, the User may choose a monthly or annual package, paid by bank card or bank transfer. Paid access starts only after the payment has been confirmed.

6.5. The fee is payable in advance for the chosen period. For card payments the source is Stripe; for bank transfer, the confirmed payment. A failed or unconfirmed payment may lead to the software being restricted or suspended.

6.6. An invoice is issued for every payment. The invoice is the document sent by Stripe or by CarVinsight. The User is responsible for the accuracy of its company details.

7.1. The User may cancel a card subscription on the Stripe interface. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. A period paid by bank transfer expires at its end, and a new payment is required to continue.

16.3. Except as set out in section 16.4, CarVinsight's contractual and non-contractual liability for damages does not exceed the fee actually paid to CarVinsight by the affected User in the 12 months before the claim was reported (for card payments as recorded by Stripe, for bank transfer according to the confirmed payments). If this amount is zero (for example, during a trial without a card), liability is limited to the liability that cannot be excluded under section 16.4.

17.3. CarVinsight may also terminate the software with 30 days' notice by email if it shuts down the service entirely. In that case it refunds the fee for the paid but unused period: for card payments via Stripe, for bank transfer to the payer's bank account. This does not apply to cancellation by the User under section 7.2.

Trial limits (version identifier trial-limits-v2-2026-09-25)

The Gold trial lasts 14 days and starts without a bank card.

  • administration and purchasing operations require a paid subscription;

  • up to 10 quick valuations and 10 trade-ins can be performed;

  • up to 20 inventory vehicles can be created; inventory import is not available;

  • searches and transport calculations share a combined limit of 200;

  • re-valuation of vehicles already in inventory is unlimited;

  • a warning is given on day 13;

  • after day 14 a package must be chosen: monthly or annual, bank card or bank transfer;

  • there is no automatic charge; paid access starts only after the payment has been confirmed.

Cancelling the trial does not delete the company identification data. The same tax number and company name are not eligible for another free trial.
